bago mag-sunday, pinlano ko nang ayusin ang kwarto ko. magtapon ng mga di ko na kailangan, para clutter-free ulit. simula friday hanggang saturday yon. naudlot rin nung friday, kasi nangapit-bahay ako. pumunta ako sa mga abilles sa camella. dapat kasama ko rin sila des at tich dun kila deens kaya lang di sila pumwede. owell.. ayus lang. ako na kakain ng share nila sa pasta na pprepare ni deens hehe. cutecute ng inaanak kong si lucyyyyyy. big na siya at dami nang ngipin. sobrang masayahin pa. kakaloka ang smile ni lucy. kung nandun si laya, sasabihin nun na panalo ang smile ni lucy. after namin kumain, makipaglaro kay lucy at magkwentuhan over kape ni deens, batsi na ko. natuloy rin ang kape-kape namin ni deens. yey.
sunday.. birthday ko, sa bahay. quiet lang. just the way i wanted it. after dad, ate jen, toppet and i visited mom's grave at loyola, i cooked pancit for lunch. yumyum. laya came over in the afternoon, around 3. may dalang sugpo galore from the romans galing bataan, uraro from laguna, saka isang pink na rose. di naman daw niya pinlano na bilhan ako ng bulaklak, pero nung nadaanan raw niya yung isang flower shop sa mall na nagbebenta ng pink roses, napabili na siya. yey. go flower shop. buti kapansin-pansin yung pink flowers niyo sa inyong window 
nag-grocery nung hapon si ate jen. pagbalik, may ice cream na dala. wow. alam naman nila na ayaw kong paggastusan ang birthday ko. pero ayun, may handa pa rin ako kahit papano.
sinelebrate rin namin ang pagiging allergy-free ko sa hipon. galit-galit na nung nagdinner kami ng hipon in small, medium, large sizes. yesssssss.. di na ko nangati.
may isa pang gift si laya sakin - flash drive! (ulit) nasira na kasi yung una niyang binigay sakin. 1GB na tong bago. niice. sayasaya ng gifts. may natanggap rin pala akong yarns mula dun sa ka-ofcmate kong si marco. yey ulit!
ayan, ngayon, ineenjoy ko na ang mga huling oras ng bakasyon.bukas, pasok na naman.. robot mode! di bale, 4day work week naman. saka payday week! YEHEY!!! MABUHAY!!!
sige, if i can just keep this disposition up throughout the week, i'll be fine.

i smiled to myself. umariba na naman ang kamandag ni gael garcia bernal!
eh he's not even one of the principal characters!
(actually, nabiktima rin ako ng nakalolokang kamandag na yan.)
si laya lang ang talagang interesadong manood ng babel nung una (mas gusto ko kasi night at the museum). nasa escalator kami non ng sm manila nung sabi niya bigla "uy palabas na ang babel!" sabay turo sa poster ng babel na nakadikit sa wall. tingin naman ako, disinterested nga, pero nung nakita ko ang pamilyar na mukha ni gael garcia bernal, hala. "andyan pala si gael??? waaaaaaaw… nood tayo…" *twinkling eyes. drool drool.*

You can also exchange these traditional waste items to new products, such as 5.5 kilos of newspaper can give you 4 rolls of double-ply tissue paper, or 5 kilos of plastics or 1/2 kilo (30 pcs) of aluminum beverage cans can abe exchanged with 1 dozen of hangers, and other trading promos that you can avail of.
These events are organized to help promote recycling in the Philippines. Also, by selling your junk or still useful waste to accredited recyclers, we lessen the amount of trash that go directly to landfills or illegal dumping/recycling. What better way to dispose of your junk at the same time help protect our environment.
The waste market is organized through the collaboration of Ayala Foundation, Ayala Center Association, Ayala Property Management Corp, Philippine Business for the Environment, Makati City LGU, National Solid Waste Management Commission and DENR.

OOOH… na-excite naman ako. sabi ko e di WAW yun kapag ang napanaginipan ko ay ang Metro Manila Filmfest Parade of Stars na nagaganap tuwing bisperas ng pasko along Roxas Boulevard! Barrage of stars!!! hehehe. yung napanaginipan ko naman, not quite the Parade of Stars that i was hoping for, pero close na rin. napanaginipan ko na guest daw ako sa The Sharon Cuneta Show featuring Kamikazee and Allan K! O ha?! hahaha! astigastig. gumising akong tumatawa. niiice.

dinayo namin ni laya ang MADE exhibit ng metrobank foundation sa le pavillion sa tabi ng toyota mb (manila bay). natyempuhan namin ang isang art lecture with cid reyes (but is it art? new trends and directions). bago nag-umpisa ang astig na lecture, meron munang powerpoint presentation kung saan ipinaliwanag ang MADE. pinapakita ang works ng mga past winners habang nag-s-scroll sa screen ang mga apelyido ng mga artists kaya't inabangan namin ang pangalan ng aming kuya eebil leslie de chavez… ang tagal. ayun! lumabas na rin! masyado akong na-excite! bigla tuloy ako napaturo sa screen sabay bulalas ng isang high-pitched "SI LESLIE!!!" oops. napatingin tuloy sakin yung mga istyudents around us. kahiya. hehe. surname pa lang yun ni kuya ha. haha.

job interview sa loob ng building na nasa kanto ng ayala at paseo de roxas. dumating ako 30 minutes earlier than the appointed time. i was ready to wait for 30 minutes sa kanilang reception area, when the person (Mr. M.) i was supposed to meet came out to meet me. i actually apologized to the senior HR associate for ariving too early. ewan. basta. he said ok lang naman daw. "did you come all the way from gatchalian?" i said yes. he said: "you know that's where i live too." eto next scene:

August 4, 2006hindi na ako nakakasulat dito kasi naging busy na ko sa kakacrochet… addict na naman ako. tapos i've been selling our books pa kaya madalas rin akong nasa labas. pag nasa bahay naman ako, mega-household chores ang inaatupag ko. pagpaplantsa na lang talaga ang kailangan kong pagtuunan ng pansin. kaya ko nang maglinis ng bahay pati banyo, maglaba, semi-luto, pero ang mamalantsa ng iba't ibang damit hindi ko pa kaya. ngraaar.

July 9, 2006saturday july 8 will be known as Busog Day for laya and chie. we celebrated our birthday at sakae sushi in sm mall of asia (dayo!) dream namin yun pareho, ang makakain sa sakae sushi. galing ng concept ng restaurant. may conveyor belt kung saan nakapatong ang wide array of maki and stuff sa mga colorful plates - nag-e-entice sa mga diners na "eat me! eat me!" 89 pesos lahat ng colored dishes, except for the red ones, 189 yun. gusto namin kumuha ng plate sa conveyor belt kaya lang wala yung gusto namin, kaya inorder nalang namin. oooh astig rin yung pag oorder ka, oorder ka through computer (bawat table ay may monitor at mouse kung san nandun ang menu) raaaaaar. may hot water tap ka pa sa mesa para sa kanilang green tea!!! hindi pa diyan nagtatapos ang kaastigan ng sakae sushi - super generous sila sa condiments!!!!!!! wasabi, kikkoman, red luya all you can!!!!!!! RAAAAR!!!
sa presyo, oks naman. (nag-agree kami ni laya na pang-special occasions lang, at hindi pang-araw-araw na puntahan ang sakae sushi) malalaki ang servings, saraaaaaap ng food, saka ok ang service. well, minimal naman kasi ang interaction mo with the servers/waiters… pero aliw talaga. saya-saya namin. sobra kaming nabusog kaya dapat kaming maglakad at magpadigest.
kapagod, pero mag-eenjoy ka naman, kasi hindi siya mukhang typical sm na mukhang siksik parati (except for the department store - ganun na talaga yun kahit saan pa). sabi ni laya parang ayala nga raw ang nagdevelop. laki ng spaces for people to walk around, tapos maraming cr kaya wala kang worries kung mahaba pila. classical music pa ang tugtog sa PA speakers! at hindi basta-basta ang mga PA speakers ha! katuwa
sumakit na paa namin kaya dapat muna umupo. basa ang mga courtyard seats kaya napilitan kami na pumasok sa delifrance (na across sakae sushi lang. haha. kaway!) may natuwang bading kay laya, mega-smile si ate sa kanya habang pumipili si laya (suplado) ng bread. nakaupo na ko sa wowwwsofaaa nun, di nila alam pinapanood ko sila. hehe nag-look away na lang ako kasi tawang tawa na ko. sana pinicturan ko yung kaganapan… sa huli talaga ang pagsisisi. hehe.

1. I love animals. Everyone who knows me is aware of this fact. When I was younger I wanted to be a vet just so I could be near them all the time. I watch a lot of Animal Planet on TV, so I know a lot about animals more than the average man on the street. Like last Sunday, when we were in Loyola, Dad pointed out to me this bird – “Batu-bato” is what it was called. It had unusually shiny feathers. My younger brother said the bird was shiny because it was wet. My sister and I said no, bird feathers are waterproof! My brother said no, other feathers aren’t waterproof. I thought about it and said yes, the bottom part where the feather meets the skin of the bird isn’t waterproof because that part serves as their coat when it gets cold. They just looked at me and rolled their eyes. (Usual reaction when I get geeky about animals) They know I’m right. Haha. Geek-geek!
2. My hands, they have to keep moving. Typing on the keyboard, doing crochet, knitting, pulling out my hair from frustration (haha), sewing, writing, fiddling with my cellphone, making paper beads, doilies and other art-art… Basta! They have to keep moving!
3. I am makalat but I’m OC. My books, CDs are all alphabetically arranged by topic/ genres. I know where each one goes and when one’s missing. Basta. My room is makalat but OC.
4. I love horror movies and stories! Zombies, vampires, ghosts… Watching them on the big screen is better! Laya doesn’t like them scary movies though. So my horror movie fixation is satisfied within the comforts of my own room. By myself. Aaaah!!! 
5. I am a child at heart. (And I will always be!!!) Take me to an amusement park. You’ll see!
6. I get "nose-talgic". I smell something familiar and memories when and where I first smelled that scent come back to me. Like how St. Ives’ Apricot Scrub would always remind me of my Harlequin days in LaSalle – after a performance we’d wash off our makeup with that one scrub we all shared. Malibu Musk (remember???) would always make me think of high school in St. Scho, after PE when we’d spray Malibu Musk all over like there was no tomorrow. Hay… Dami pa.
7. I’ve always had a sense of humor. I love to laugh. At myself, at people, stuff… so I could make light of difficult situations. There are times when I would wake up laughing. That’s always a good day.
8. I have the gift of timing. Laya pointed this out to me during one of our phone conversations. He observed that I’d always get the GREAT BOOKS on Booksale; the last pair of shoes (with the right size) on a shoe sale; and just recently, get an offer on a new job during my worst weeks at my present job… Thank you Lord!
